Pursuant to the order passed by the Court on 13th May, 2022, the petitioner has been permitted to participate in the interview held on 17th May, 2022. It appears from the report filed by the Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Bankura under control of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bankura that three candidates including the writ petitioner was directed to appear in the interview before the members of the selection committee. Out of the three members, only two participated in the interview and one remained absent.

After the interview was over, a panel was prepared by the selection committee. The petitioner stood second in the said panel. There is only one vacancy for filling up the post of ASHA Karmee. As the petitioner stood second in the panel, accordingly, there is no scope to engage the petitioner in the said post.

On perusal of the report it appears that as the petitioner failed to secure the first position in the panel and as there is only one post, accordingly, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case. The report by way of affidavit filed in Court today be taken on record.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
