Mr. Neguive Ahmed Md. Anwar Hossain For the State Pursuant to the earlier order dated 16th January, 2020, a report has been filed by the Director General and Inspector General of Police, West Bengal. Let the same be kept on record. Placing reliance upon the same, Mr. Mukherjee, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that SITREP software has been successfully implemented in 34 Police Commissionerates/Districts/ Government Railway Police (GRP)/the Units under West Bengal Police including CID, West Bengal and that implementation of the said software in remaining five Districts/Units is under process. Mr. Mukherjee further submits that all effective steps have been taken for creation of the website, as observed in the earlier order of this Court to ensure greater transparency.
