The petitioners come forward with a prayer directing the police authority to maintain peace and tranquillity in respect of the disputed property on the basis of an order passed under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure on 25th March, 2022. As on this date the force of the order dated 25th March, 2022 passed in Case No.231 of 2022 under Section 144 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure ceases. Therefore, on the instant writ petition this Court cannot pass any order directing the police authority to maintain peace and tranquility as that of an Executive Magistrate.

Accordingly, the instant writ application is summarily dismissed.
