However, learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that number of cases has been registered.

But, so far as the information which was furnished by the present petitioner is concerned, a specific case being Jibantala PS Case No.

of dated 01.05.2025 was registered for investigation against the private respondent nos. 5 to 10 for allegedly forcefully trespassing into

the house of the petitioner and assaulting upon her son-in-law as also threatening her to damage her house and for withdrawing the case.

Learned advocate for the private respondents disputes and denies such contention and submits that a normal dispute has been converted into a criminal case.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities have registered a criminal case, they would take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8983 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
