The expression 'presumably' is consciously used by the Court as the pleadings do not indicate why the petitioner has approached this Court at all. Relying on the interview letter of 2019, the petitioner alleges that she was wrongly left out from the zone of consideration. She claims of being deprived of her right to serve as a supervisor. Such assumption of the petitioner is based on her self-assessment and her performance in the interview. There are no supporting documents which would indicate that the petitioner had secured adequate marks at the interview. There is nothing to establish that the selection process suffered from any illegality or irregularity or that the petitioner had intentionally not been granted promotion to the post of supervisor.

The writ petition cannot be entertained solely on the petitioner's assumption that she had performed well in the interview.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

However, there will be no order as to costs.
