The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the series of information furnished, no steps have been taken.
A report has been submitted by the Officer-in-charge of Sinthi Police Station which reflects that the medical reports which were referred to in the information furnished on 16.04.2025 were not placed before the police authorities.
Consequently, it was difficult for the police authorities to assess whether any cognizable offence has been made out.
Having regard to the same, I direct that the petitioner will produce all the original medical certificates before the police authorities in support of the information furnished on 16th April, 2025.
The police authorities on an assessment of the same would act in accordance with law.
In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the decision taken by the police authorities within 15 days, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of the BNSS.
The learned Magistrate on an assessment of the records would exercise his/her discretion and pass necessary direction(s).
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9517 of 2025 is disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
