1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The complaint made by the petitioner before the West Bengal Medical Council is pending consideration for a considerable period of time. The petitioner prays for quick disposal of the same.

3. Learned advocate for the Council could not provide any explanation for keeping the complaint pending.

4. The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the West Bengal Medical Council to consider and dispose of the complaint filed by the petitioner strictly in

accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of sixty days from the date of communication of this order. Reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

5. It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the allegations raised by the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the Council at the time of consideration of the complaint.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
