It appears that charge was framed on March 26, 2021 and not one witness has turned up for adducing evidence despite several adjournments granted by the learned Trial Court. Record reveals that such delay is not attributable to the accused of the case.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of both the parties and material on record, the revisional application is disposed of directing the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur to dispose of the trial being Sessions Trial No. 03 of 2019 pending before him within two years from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without

granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR No. 1451 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
