03.08.2021 Item no.11 Ct. No.34 CHC C.R.R. No.1300 of 2012 (Via Video Conference) In Re: An application under Sections 401 and 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

AND In the matter of:- Sarmistha Gon ... petitioner The present revisional application was preferred against the order dated 12.12.2011, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Arambagh, Hooghly, in connection with Criminal Appeal No.2 of 2010.

The order reflects that the learned sessions court on appraisal of the evidence was pleased to acquit the appellant namely, Abhijit Das and affirmed the part of the judgement against Sarmistha Gon.

Records of this revisional application reflect that the same appeared on 14.06.2012 and 03.10.2012 and on both the occasions learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prayed for time. Today, when the matter has been taken up, none appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Having regard to the fact that there has been no persuasion on behalf of the petitioner, I do not think that the pendency of this revisional application is warranted for ends of justice.

Accordingly, C.R.R.1300 of 2012 is dismissed. Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
