On the basis of the allegation of the petitioner that an unauthorized construction was being carried on at Dag No.3005, Mounza - Bankra without any sanction plan, this Court had directed the Howrah Zilla Parishad to file a report. Accordingly, it appears that the Howrah Zilla Parishad has conducted an inspection in presence of the petitioner as also the respondent no.8. It appears that Dag No.3005 has been identified as a pond and the water body has not been filled up. No construction was found on the pond. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and disposed of on the basis of the report of the Howrah Zilla Parishad.
