Petitioner is aggrieved by the act and action of the police authorities. Last of the information which was sent to the Officer-in-Charge of Dholahat Police Station was on 27.01.2023. The main issue arises out of the possession regarding a plot of land. Police authorities have taken steps and to that effect, number of criminal cases have been registered being Dholahat Police Station Case No.590 of 2022 dated 29.12.2022, Dholahat Police Station Case No.95 of 2023 dated 02.03.2023 and Dholahat Police Station Case No.19 of 2023 dated 11.01.2023. In respect of first two cases, charge-sheet has been submitted, while in respect of the last case, investigation is still under progress. Additionally, police in order to keep a

strict vigil initiated proceedings under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at the relevant point of time.

In view of the steps taken by the police authorities, the grievance of the petitioner seems to be addressed. However, if till date, dispute and difference persists, police would ensure that no breach of peace takes place at the locale and no untoward incident stems out of the land dispute which has been alleged by the present petitioner. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8992 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.
