Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner on the basis of the written instructions dated July 23, 2021 submits that the complaint of the petitioner was registered as a First Information Report and that the investigation with regard thereto is in progress. He submits that the police facilitated recording of a statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The private respondents are represented.

In the facts of the present case, since the police registered the complaint of the petitioner as a First Information Report and proceeded with the investigation and the police facilitated the recording of a statement under Section 164 of the Cr. P.C. at this stage, no further interference is called for by the writ court.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that two specific sections should be added by the police in the First Information Report. No doubt the police will submit appropriate report on completion of investigation. If in the investigation, the police come across materials to incorporate further sections, police will do so in accordance with law. In the event, the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate steps before the appropriate court in accordance with law.

WPA 10063 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
