Majumder ...for the Petitioner Mr. Suman Ghosh Mr. Siddhartha Ghosh ... for the State Petitioner is aggrieved and has approached this Court as his representation dated 27.03.2024 was not acted upon by the Officer-in-Charge, Haridevpur Police Station. The representation also reflects that Title Suit No. 180/2024 was pending before the Learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, 7th Court at Alipore and there was a direction for status quo in respect of the nature and character of the suit property.

It is also reflected from the records that Haridevpur Police Station Case No. 155 dated 25.03.2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code.

Mr. Ghosh, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that on conclusion of investigation charge-sheet has already been submitted under Section 324/120 and Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code on 12.11.2024.

Having regard to the fact that the investigation of the case has been concluded, if the petitioner faces any inconvenience because of threats at the behest of the accused persons, petitioner will take out an application before the jurisdictional Magistrate, jurisdictional Magistrate will call for a threat perception report and pass necessary directions under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

With the aforesaid observations WPA No.

9748 of 2024 stands disposed of.
