IC, Raidighi Police Station, Sundarban Police District has filed a report dated 30th June, 2023 and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that the District Magistrate has demolished the unauthorized construction and has handed over possession of the property to the petitioners through the Raidighi Police.

However, after possession was handed over, it was once again taken back from the petitioners during the last Panchayat elections.

4.

Raidighi Police shall ensure that the petitioners receive back possession of their property in terms of this Court's order dated 28th November, 2022. The District Magistrate shall oversee the compliance of the aforesaid order.

Raidighi Police shall also ensure that the petitioners' possession is not disturbed in future. 6.

With the aforesaid directions, the contempt application shall stand disposed of.

7.

Personal presence of the alleged contemnor, if any, is dispensed with.

8.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

10.

Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated.

11.
