The grievance of the petitioner is directed against removal of unauthorised structures over Government land.

The State respondents are represented and rely on the communications dated 26th May, 2021 and 2nd August, 2021 to contend that the necessary steps have been taken and an enquiry report is awaited by the concerned officials.

In view of the steps that have been taken by the State, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition alive.

WPA 10080 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the State respondents to take the proceedings initiated by them to theor logical conclusion in accordance with law after affording a right of hearing to all the affected parties.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 10080 of 2021 is disposed off. However, there will be order as to costs.
