The same is taken on record along with additional documents. This Court appreciates the same.

It appears from the said report that the thyroid and other medical conditions of the prisoner are being monitored regularly. There was an outbreak of Gastroenteritis in the correctional home. As a consequence whereof, the prisoner was afflicted by the same and was also treated.

The allegations of torture are denied and this court is unable to accept the same particularly in view of the statements and documents annexed to the report. It is further stated that the prisoner has in a span of six months contacted and spoken to her family members atleast 115 times. She was also allowed video conferencing calls with her family members. In compliance with the order dated 27th August, 2021, the prisoner was allowed access twice to her family members.

Since learned counsel for the petitioner now complains that the prisoner is suffering from piles, the prison authority shall address the same and ensure appropriate medical treatment. The visitation rights of the petitioner shall be ensured strictly in terms of the applicable Rules.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
