Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that their role in the incident are limited at the highest. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the grandson of the victim died. The victim was confined in a room along with the dead body of her grandson on the ground of witchcraft. The petitioners were involved therein. The victim was ultimately set on fire in the same pyre of her grandson. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 1284 of 2022 is dismissed.
