Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioners claim to be an automobile manufacturing company and pray for consideration of their representation for registration of electric three-wheelers manufactured by them, submitted before the Director, Transport Directorate, being the 3rd respondent herein, on 10th January, 2023.

It is submitted by the added respondent that the added respondent be given an opportunity of hearing before the concerned authority and placing relevant documents at the time of hearing.

Upon considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 10th January, 2023 within six weeks from the date of communication of this

order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders including the petitioners and the private respondents, in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and the concerned authority shall be at liberty to deal with the representation independently upon taking into consideration the submission made on behalf of all the stakeholders before it and documents submitted. With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA 8995 of 2023 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
