The petitioner complains of police inaction.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that despite his complaint lodged by the petitioner, the police are inactive.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that anti-socials are trying to grab the land of the petitioner. The petitioner is trying to erect a boundary wall. The petitioner is being prevented from doing so.

Mr. Sen, Sr. Advocate appearing for the State submits, on instruction, that there is no complaint to the police. He submits that the petitioner wants to erect a boundary wall and that he is seeking such permission from the Panchayat authority.

In the facts of the present case, in the event, the petitioner wishes to construct a boundary wall on his land, he is at liberty to do so. The officer-in-charge will

ensure that no breach of peace occurs at the locale where the petitioner erects the boundary wall. None of the observations made herein, nor the directions contained herein, will be construed to mean that the court decided on the right title and interest of the petitioner in respect of any immovable property. If there is any dispute with regard to any immovable property, such dispute may be resolved before an appropriate forum in accordance with law.

WPA 6662 of 2020 (Old No. 6662(W) of 2020) is disposed of.
