In re: CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. CAN 5531 of 2020) This application for urgent hearing of the writ petition is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration. The petitioner seeks pensionary benefits.

State and the respondent no. 3 are represented. Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner draws the attention of the Court to the fact that, the petitioner made a representation dated June 15, 2020 which is yet to be decided.

In the facts of the present case, it would be appropriate to request the respondent no. 4 to consider and decide the representation dated June 15, 2020 in accordance with law. The respondent no. 4 will afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. He is at liberty to hear such other parties and consult such documents that he deems appropriate. He will pass a reasoned order, which he will communicate to the parties forthwith thereafter. It is expected that, the respondent no. 4 will complete the entire exercise within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order to him.

W.P.A. 6665 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
