Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

The petitioner apparently collected money from the unsuspecting members of the public in the name of the Chief Minister of the State of West Bengal. The petitioner was also involved in a project to extract money from unsuspecting members of the public in the name of the Prime Minister of the country. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1616 of 2023 is dismissed.
