In re: CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. CAN 5536 of 2020) This is an application for urgent hearing of the writ petition and is disposed of by taking up for consideration. Petitioner seeks condonation of age relaxation in a selection process.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, the petitioner never obtained such relaxation at any point of time previously.

State is represented.

In such circumstances, since the petitioner is working as a Group-D staff of the college in which the selection process is

underway, it would be appropriate to request the college authorities to condone the age bar of the petitioner in such selection process.

It is pointed out on behalf of the State that, there are two posts available.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, the petitioner applied for one of the posts only. In such circumstances, the college authorities will condone the age bar in respect of the post for which the petitioner applied. It is clarified that, no other essential qualification so far as the post is concerned is relaxed in respect of the petitioner in any manner whatsoever. W.P.A. 6670 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
