Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

Domjur Police Station, Howrah City Police has filed a report in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate dated 19th September, 2022 in Court today be taken on record.

It appears to this Court that steps have been taken by the police to trace out the petitioner's husband. It further appears to this Court that accused has been arrested and interrogated.

Steps have been taken to circulate the photographs of the missing person to other States and in print and electronic media.

In the above circumstances, this Court is of the view that Domjur Police Station, Howrah City Police has taken steps in the matter.

It is expected that continued steps shall be

taken to recover the missing person in accordance with law. The petitioner shall give any further inputs that she may receive about her husband.

A copy of the instructions of the State has been handed over to the Counsel for the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
