Mr. Susovan Sengupta Mr. Srikanta Paul ... for the State The application made by the petitioner for grant of licence in her favour on 5th August, 2019 was enquired by the Sub Divisional Controller in February, 2022. The petitioner was directed to remain personally present on the applied spot and to cooperate with the enquiry process.

According to the petitioner she was present at the time of enquiry. Her grievance is that the fate of her candidature has not been intimated to her till date. As it appears that the enquiry was conducted in February, 2022, it is expected that the Sub Divisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Berhampore (Sardar), shall intimate the petitioner the fate of her application. The same shall be communicated to the petitioner at

the earliest, but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the letter dated 11th February, 2022 issued by the Sub Divisional Controller, Food & Supply, Berhampore (Sadar) to the petitioner at the time of communicating the court's order to the respondent authorities. The writ petition stands disposed of.
