Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions issued by the Officer-inCharge, Burwan Police Station, Murshidabad Police District dated 7th June, 2023 addressed to the learned State Advocate and the same is taken on record. 2.

The petitioner has been able to return to his house. A list of cases against him has been provided by Mr. Galib, learned counsel for the State and handed over to Mr. Banerjee, his learned counsel.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the police to give notice of ten days to the petitioner in the event any FIR is proposed to be registered in respect of any incident that has taken place more than two months prior to the date of such registration.

Since the respondents have not used any affidavits, the allegations made in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted by them.

5.

There shall be no order as to costs.

6.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
