Petitioner apprehends that he may be murdered as he has experienced regarding a colleague who has faced a similar circumstance. To that effect, he has informed the Officer-in-Charge, Samsherganj Police Station wherein he was threatened by masked persons.

Report submitted by the Officer-in-Charge, Samsherganj Police Station reflects that no such information dated 01.09.2023 could be traced at the police station. However, the SDPO/Additional S.P. inCharge of the concerned police station would enquire from the present petitioner relating to his perception of threat and take steps accordingly.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9736 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
