Petitioner is aggrieved as the police authorities did not respond to the complaint lodged on December 10, 2024 and December 11, 2024.
It is reflected in the records of the writ petition itself that the police authorities have registered a case being Techno City Police Station Case No.197 of dated 11.12.2024.
The Inspector-in-Charge, Techno City Police Station, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate has submitted a report also which reflects that NCCR portal was also opted by the petitioner and consequently information and communications have been made to the authorities concerned. So far as the investigation of the criminal case is concerned, the accused have
been traced at a different State and permission has been obtained from the superiors for conducting raid. Having regard to the steps being taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that the police authorities are working on the information so furnished by the petitioner. At this stage, no interference is called for from this Court. Petitioner is directed to cooperate with the investigating agency and the investigating agency are directed to put in substantive efforts so that the investigation of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8961 of 2025 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
