Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the genesis of the case relates to recoveries made from two ladies and they are in custody since 23.04.2025. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the evidence of all the witnesses have been completed and the next date has been fixed for examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having considered the advanced stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Learned Trial Court is directed to progress with the trial in a speedy way in order to keep up the spirit and pronounce its judgement at the earliest.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 780 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.

Learned advocate appearing for the State is directed to communicate this order to the learned Trial Court. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
