Mr. Md. Kutubuddin ...for the petitioner Mr. D. Mukherjee ...for WBSEDCL Let the instruction submitted by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) be kept on record.

A copy of the said instruction has been provided to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. The petitioner seeks an electricity connection for his submersible pump set.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of WBSEDCL submits that the petitioner is required to comply with certain technical formalities, as detailed in the said instruction.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to fulfill the technical and other necessary formalities, as indicated, within a period of two weeks from the date of this order and to communicate such compliance to the concerned officials of WBSEDCL.

If WBSEDCL is satisfied with the petitioner's compliance, it shall provide the electricity connection within one month thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 9024 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
