Kutubuddin ..for the petitioner Mr. Debanjan Mukherjee ..for WBSEDCL Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, despite the deposit of the quoted amount on August 14, 2024, the electricity connection for the petitioner's submersible pump set has not yet been provided. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of WBSEDCL submits that the installation of three electricity poles is required. He further states that due to ongoing agricultural activities on the relevant land, the line could not be laid.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to communicate to WBSEDCL the completion of cultivation on the concerned land. Upon receipt of such communication, WBSEDCL shall ensure the electricity connection is effected in favour of the

petitioner within six weeks, subject to the petitioner's compliance with all requisite formalities.

Accordingly, WPA 9195 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
