Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the original documents are in the custody of the petitioner in respect of the vehicle which is the subject-matter for which the petitioner is aggrieved as the same has not been released by the police authorities.

The police authorities by way of Faridpur Investigation Centre reference No. 495 dated 10.12.2025 has seized the vehicle.

Having considered the fact that Durgapur Police Station is already in seisin of the issue and the seizure has been effected under Section 25 of the Police Act, the petitioner will produce all the original documents before the learned Magistrate. Notices be issued to all the affected parties. Learned Magistrate within a period of thirty days from date of filing of the

application by the petitioner would exhaust the remedies after providing necessary hearing to all the parties.

This Court has not gone into the merits of the case. Learned Magistrate would apply his mind after perusing and considering all the documents produced before the learned Magistrate and dispose of the application in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 9155 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
