Mr. Debabrata Mondal Mrs. Sreetama Neogi Mr. Antariksha Karmakar ..for the petitioners None appears for the respondents despite service. Alleging corruption, illegality and irregularity by the Pradhan, Dhananjoypur Gram Panchayat in connection with a tender for construction of concrete road under the BEUP fund from the house of Ijarul Sk. to the house of Jhantu Sk. at Dhananjoypur village, the petitioner submitted a representation on April 09, 2025 before the District Panchayat and Rural Development Officer, Nadia, being the 3rd respondent herein which is not considered. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the 3rd respondent to consider the same.

In view of the above, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners/ their authorized representative(s), in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
