Mr. Dwijadas Chakraborty ...............for the petitioners/UOI Ms. Somali Mukhopadhyay Ms. Debarati Das .......for the respondent no. 1 The respondent no. 1 did not appear before the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata for his vision test as directed by this Court vide order dated 11th February, 2022. The respondent no. 1 also did not seek for any further date for the vision test to the hospital authority or to this Court. In absence of any report regarding his vision condition, the recommendation made by the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) by its order dated 08.02.2021 is set aside on the grounds and reasons as given in the detailed judgment passed in WPA 9576 of 2021.

The writ petition is, thus, allowed.
