Ct. No.17 head teachers of primary schools under District Primary School Council, Purulia.

The grievance of the petitioners is that they are getting lesser pay and not in accordance with law. Due to non-fixation of pay scale, they are getting lesser pay than juniors.

I direct the District Primary School Council, Purulia to hear out the petitioners within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and the petitioners are directed to be present with all their documents in support of their case and they have the liberty to be represented by their learned advocates. The hearing may be done for more than one day but not more than three days. If the District Inspector (Primary Education) finds that the petitioners are entitled to the higher scale of pay, he

will take immediate steps for payment of higher scale but if he finds that they are not entitled to it, then reasoned order is to be passed and the order is to be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of hearing by the District Inspector (Primary Education) order. With this observation and direction this writ application is disposed of.
