Despite direction, no affidavit-in-opposition and affidavit-in-reply have yet been filed.

The writ petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the Memo No.147/21 dated 25th February, 2010 seeking direction upon the respondents not to give any effect to and/or taking steps and/or further steps and/or acting or continue to act on the basis of the decision issued by the respondent no.2 being the Executive Officer Nakashipara Panchayat Samity, District-Nadia (Annexure - 7) and to quash the same.

By the said memo, list of eligible contractors was published by the Executive Officer, Nakashipara Panchayat Samity.

This case is pending since 2010. Almost 15 years have been passed.

Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of this writ petition, it seems to this Court that the purpose of filing this writ petition has been either resolved or abandoned their prayer due to passage of time.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed without any order as to costs. Connected applications, if any, are also, thus, disposed of.

The interim order, if any, stands vacated.

11.
