The petitioner renews his prayer for bail. His prayer was rejected by a Coordinate Bench by an order dated October 31, 2017 passed in CRM 10445 of 2017. We have considered the material on record. We are told by learned Counsel for the State that only three witnesses remain to be examined.

The petitioner says that he has been in custody for 5 years and 8 months. The incident arose out of a civil dispute. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the order of earlier rejection, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail at this stage. However, we request the learned Trial Court to bring the trial to its logical conclusion as soon as the business of the Court may permit and preferably within a period of 6 months from date without granting unnecessary

adjournments to the parties. This we say keeping in view the fact that the petitioner has been in custody for a very long period of time.
