1. Having heard Mr. S.S. Koley, Counsel for the appellant, this Court is of the view that the appeal may have become infrutuous by efflux of time.

2. According to Mr. Koley, the respondent may have been afforded an electricity connection by this day.

3. In view of the above, M.A.T. No. 1508 of 2004 shall stand disposed of without any further order.

4. Consequently, the connected applications being CAN 1 of 2004 and CAN 2 of 2004 shall stand disposed of.

5. Interim order, if any, shall stand vacated.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
