The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for a direction upon the Tribunal for consideration of the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the deletion list dated April 5, 2025 being an appeal no. APS2521G090426838705 dated April 9, 2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relied upon the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated April 13, 2026 wherein the Hon'ble Supreme Court has directed the Election Commission of India that wherever the appellate Tribunals are able to decide the appeals by April 21, 2026 or April 27, 2026, as the case may be, such appellate orders shall be given effect to by issuing a supplementary revised electoral roll and all necessary consequences with respect to the right to vote.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already preferred an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal against the delisted order dated April 5, 2026 and the voting date of the petitioner is on April 23, 2026 and praying for a direction upon the Appellate Tribunal for consideration of the appeal preferred by the

petitioner as early as possible so as to enable the petitioner to cast his vote if the petitioner succeed in the appeal.

4. The petitioner has submitted notice showing service of notice upon the respondents but none appears on behalf of the respondents.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by requesting the Tribunal to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner by taking appropriate decision in accordance with law.

6. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
