Siddiqui, Mr. Amrita lal Chatterjee ...for the State The petitioners are aggrieved by alleged inaction of the Bagmundi Police Station, Purulia. The petitioners have lodged a complaint against the private respondents on May 14, 2022, that was registered as Bagmundi P.S. Case No.

50/2022 dated 14.05.2022 under Sections 341/448/323/427/506/34 of the IPC, which resulted in a charge sheet being Bagmundi P.S. Charge Sheet No. 43/2022.

It appears from the report of the Bagmundi Police Station that there is land dispute between the petitioners and the private respondents. The petitioners, who had earlier agreed to demarcation of the property by local 'Amin' has subsequently, refused do so. Unless the property in question is demarcated, the mutual rights of the parties

cannot be ascertained. The petitioners may approach the Civil Court for the purpose of establishing a civil right.

The Bagmundi Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

In the facts and circumstances, this Court does not find any inaction on the part of the Bagmundi Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
