Nayak ...for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioners is directed against a bill raised by the respondent Corporation for the month of April, 2020 to June, 2020 which appears at page 37 of this writ petition.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, submits that there was a mistake in the impugned bill which was human error. He also submits that pursuant to the filing of this writ petition a new bill has been raised in place and stead of the impugned bill for the aforesaid period.

In view of the submissions made by the Counsel appearing on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity

Distribution Company Limited nothing survives in this writ petition. The impugned bill appearing at page 37 of this writ petition is set aside and quashed. The notice for disconnection relating to the impugned bill is also quashed and set aside. The petitioners undertake to pay the new bill raised by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited within the stipulated time period.

With the above directions WPA No. 6749 of 2020 stands disposed of without any order as to costs. Consequently CAN No. 1 of 2020 is also disposed of. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
