and as also sustained injuries. Consequently, she was treated at M. R. Bangur Hospital. An information, to that effect, was furnished with the police authorities. However, the police authorities in spite of receiving such information did not diligently act on the issues.

The petitioner as such was compelled to approach this Court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on receipt of the

information furnished by the petitioner Kasba Police Station Case No. 134 dated 12.04.2024 was registered for investigation.

The report which has been submitted is of 13th April, 2024.

Having considered that the police authorities initially had taken steps as also the fact that 11 months have passed since the registration of the FIR, I am of the view that the police authorities, if till date, have not submitted a report under Section 173 of the Cr.P.C., they would within a period of 45 days submit the same.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the report so submitted by the police authorities, in that case, the petitioner would prefer an application before the learned Magistrate invoking the relevant provisions of law. The learned Magistrate by adhering to the provisions of law pass necessary order(s) and/or direction(s).

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9778 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
