The petitioners allege that the son and daughter-in-law have been torturing them and coercing them to convey certain properties in their favour. Counsel for the State submits that FIR 137 of 2022 dated 21st May, 2022 was filed against the son, Roni Das and daughter-in-law, Priyanka Das. Charge sheet has been filed being Charge Sheet No. 143 of 2022 dated 30th June, 2022.

There is clear evidence before this Court supporting the grievance of the writ petitioners. The O. C., Thakurpukur Police Station shall warn the private respondents/son and daughter-in-law against disturbing the petitioners.

It shall be communicated to the son and daughter-in-law that in the event of any further complaint of any serious harassment to the petitioners, they shall be physically removed from the premises by the O.C., Thakurpukur Police Station itself.

The O.C., Thakurpukur Police Station shall maintain strict vigil on the premises and make regular enquiries with the petitioners as regards their well being.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
