The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submit that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case out of grudge. The learned advocate further submits that going by the allegations made in the First Information Report, the custodial detention of the petitioners may not be warranted.

The learned advocate for the State produced the Memo of evidence and draws the attention of this Curt to the fact that the petitioners name appearing in the statements of the victim and there was a culpability involved which is further recorded on the statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having regard to the materials on record and the nature of the offence, we are not inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. With these observations, CRM 6179 of 2020 and CRAN 4688 of 2020 are disposed of.
