Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, police are proceeding against the petitioner, on the basis of the statement of the co-accused made while in custody. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, there are four police cases as against the petitioner and that in respect of such police cases charge-sheet as against the petitioner was submitted.

In the present police case, less than commercial quantity of narcotics were seized. There are four police complaints as against the petitioner in which, police filed charge-sheet. Those police cases relate to the Narcotic Drugs Cosmetics and Foreigners Act.

Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioners and the materials in the Case Diary we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1254 of 2024 is disposed of.
