Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners were falsely implicated. There is a longstanding boundary dispute with the family of the de-facto complainant and the petitioners.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the first petitioner initially tried to ravish the de-facto complainant and, thereafter, poured kerosene oil inflicting burn injuries on the de-facto complainant. He refers to the injury report of the de-facto complainant.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 2205 of 2022 is dismissed.
