The State of West Bengal and others (Through Video Conference) Mr. Dipayan Kundu, advocate ... for the petitioners The only grievance sought to be raised by the petitioners, an association of advocates at Hooghly District Court, is that some of the family members of the Public Prosecutor have tested COVID-19 positive, but still he is physically appearing in Court in violation of the COVID-19 protocols. There may be chance of other advocates or staff members being infected. Learned counsel for the petitioners prayed for leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to make a representation before the District and Sessions Judge concerned.

In case any such representation is made, the learned District and Sessions Judge concerned shall take immediate steps keeping in view the COVID-19 protocols. All preventive measures are required to be taken during COVID-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
