It is submitted by Mr. Chakraborty, learned Advocate for the alleged contemnor that the order impugned has been complied with.

Affidavit-of-compliance is before this Court. Learned Advocate for the applicants submits that compliance has been done by the gram panchayat. Now, the matter is before the Sub-Divisional Officer. The unauthorised construction has been detected.

The contempt application is disposed of upon dropping the contempt proceeding. Now the Sub-Divisional Officer, Serampore, Hooghly, shall take steps in accordance with law under Section 23(5) West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973. The

applicants are at liberty to take steps in this regard and approach the appropriate authority for necessary action. The rule is discharged.
