Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears from the report that the Voters Identify Card produced by the petitioner before the investigating agency was sent for verification and upon verification, it is found that his name is not found in the electoral roll and also not displayed in terms of the Voters Registration Rules, 1960. Upon search at the address given by the petitioner, it is found that the petitioner and his family did/do not reside at the said address.

Since the allegation against the petitioner is under Section 14A(b) of the Foreigners Act and Section 12 of the Passport Act, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is at flight risk and cannot be released on bail at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected, at this stage. The application for bail is disposed of.
