The petitioners' grievance in the writ petition is that pursuant to an order dated 19th December, 2019 passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, the petitioners' representation which was directed to be disposed of preferably by six months has not yet been done.

The Land Reforms Act, 1955 is one of the included acts under the Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997.

In that view of the matter, no order, be it for a direction for consideration of the representation or otherwise can be passed by this Court in the present writ petition.

The petitioners will be at liberty to approach the Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal for appropriate order in the self-same cause.

The writ petition is disposed of along with the connected application without any order as to costs. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
