The petitioner claims to be engaged as Group-D Staff in a school in the District of Darjeeling. He claims that he is entitled to be absorbed as a permanent Group-D Staff under the G.T.A. in the school in which he is working.

Without going into further details of the matter, the D.I. of Schools, Darjeeling, respondent no.3, shall consider the request of the petitioner, treating the writ petition itself as a representation, preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The petitioner may be heard in person or through legal representative. The 3rd respondent, the D.I. of Schools, Darjeeling shall pass a reasoned order and

communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of seven days thereof.

With the above observations, WPA 6797 of 2020 (Old No. W.P. 6797 (W) of 2020) is disposed of. Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. CAN 5756 of 2020) is also disposed of.

Since, no affidavits have been called for, the allegation contained in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted.

All parties are to act on a server copy of this order on the usual undertaking.
